How To Apply

International Students

After choosing your course, please follow the steps below:

Entry Requirements

Before you start your application, make sure you meet the course entry requirements.

Each course has your own entry requirements and you can check them on the course page.

Student Application Form

Applying is easy and can be done online by filling out the Student Application Form. Fill our application form with the following supporting documentation:

  • Certified Passport
  • Certified Academic Transcript and qualification from Year 12 or Above
  • Evidence of English Proficiency
This form needs to be completed in full with the supporting documents attached. You should provide certified copies of your academic and other essential documents. If you have any difficulty, please contact us at info@mars.edu.au

Please note that applications can be rejected at any stage during the application process for a variety of reasons. Please be assured all efforts are made to carefully review and accommodate all applications.

Offer Letter and Initial Deposit

After the application, you will receive an Offer Letter and the request for pending documents, if any. Before you accept, check all the conditions on your offer letter.

When all pending documents are submitted and you meet the entry requirements, you will be requested to make an initial deposit for the course.

Done! You will receive your COE (Confirmation of Enrolment) with a Welcome letter.

How to Apply for a Student Visa with Mars Institute

1. Make sure you read and understand all the information about the course in the Course Page. Contact Mars Institute and speak to our student support staff, or email at info@marsinstitute.com.au if you need more course information including whether there are available course places.

2. Fill in the Application Form and SSVF documents (as applicable). Application form and SSVF documents (as applicable) can also be easily accessed by calling the student support staff at 0433 042 760. You will be contacted within 7 days with the outcome of your application and to confirm your details. You will also need to provide necessary documentary evidence if you are applying for studying in a course.

3. Once Mars Institute accepts the Application for Enrolment,we will send to the applicant a Letter of Offer, Student Agreementvand Acceptance of Offer Form.The student must carefully read the conditions, sign it and return it to OIC along with the payment as per the form.

4. Once Mars Institute receives the Letter of Offer, Student Agreement and Acceptance of Offer Form and course payment, a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) is sent to Department of Home Affairs (DOHA). The Letter of Offer will indicate your proposed Title of Course, Provider Code, CRICOS Code, fees, commencement and Completion dates as well as a tax invoice with the amounts and dates for payments.

5. The next step is to apply for a Student Visa. Information about applying for a visa can be found at Departament of Home Affairs website For further assistance you may wish to obtain advice from a professional student visa agency. Mars Institute has a range of education agents who can assist you with the process of applying for a course at Mars Institute including assistance with visas. You will need the following information to apply for your student visa:

  • Letter of Offer
  • Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
  • Receipt showing that you have made the payment for your tuition fees
  • Valid passport
  • Medical report showing your good health
  • Proof of payment for OSHC (Overseas Student Health Cover)
  • Evidence to show ability to cover cost of living expenses for the duration of the course.
6. Department of Home Affairs will then process your student visa application.

7. You will need to advise Mars Institute when your visa application has been approved. Orientation session occurs a week before study starts. At this time students will meet other students, receive the timetable and information about rules and regulations, meet some of their teacher/trainer and be introduced to the course/program. We also make sure that all matters relating to settling well in Melbourne are occurring. If an application is unsuccessful, all fees, with the exception of the Application & Administration Fee will be refunded to you. You need to provide evidence of your visa rejection when applying for a refund.
